SEPTA (Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority)
Services include buses, trains, and subways in Philadelphia

the surrounding areas, as well as a high-speed railroad

Reduced taxicab fares for senior citizens. Any Montgomery
County resident 65 years or older is eligible; residents
60-64 years of age are also eligible under a more
limited program. Special door-to-door service is available
for passengers whose physical or mental condition
prevents them from reaching the entrance of their
destination independently. Passengers in wheelchairs
will receive assistance in a lift-equipped vehicle;
if the passenger wishes to travel in a vehicle not
specifically equipped for wheelchairs, the passenger
must have someone at both ends of the trip who can
transfer them into their seat and store the wheelchair
in the trunk.
