Recycling
Recycling has become a way of life for the residents
of Abington Township. Abington has one of the strongest waste
reduction and recycling programs in the state. Abington
Township is preventing tons of material from unnecessary landfill
disposal every day.
Curbside Pick Up
Curbside is the area between the curb and property line,
not to exceed 4' feet from the road.
When:
Place these recyclables curbside by 7 AM on Monday
mornings. In the event a holiday occurs on a
weekday, i.e. Christmas, New Year's Day, July 4th,
Thanksgiving Day, paper must be held until the next
scheduled Monday collection.

Should your recycling cart become damaged telephone
the department at (267) 536-1038 for information on a
replacement.
Remember if a holiday falls on a Monday, paper recycling
must be held until the following Monday for pickup.
