Register Early for Programs
Nothing stops a program in its track faster than everyone waiting until the last minute to register. Many of our programs need a minimum number of participants to run so a program may be canceled if there are not enough registrants. Minimum number must be reached at least one week prior to the program beginning.

Program Cancellation Number
Weather or other conditions may force us to cancel/postpone a program. The Bureau will make every effort to make the decision as early as possible. If there is any question about the status of a program, please call our office at 215-576-5213.

Registration Policy
You will be considered registered for a program only after the proper forms and fees are received by the Bureau before the stated deadline. You will not receive a confirmation unless otherwise noted. Registration without accompanying fees will NOT be accepted. Please note that there are some programs which require REGISTRATION IN PERSON. If you mail a registration in for an "in person" program, the registration will entered at the end of the work day.  Some programs have a special date specifically for Abington Township residents to register, if a non-resident registration is received during this time it will be entered at the end of the first day of non-resident registration.  This applies to all programs.

Refund Policy
Effective October 1, 2001 a 20% service fee will be charged to all refund requests. Requests must be made at least five (5) business days before a program, thirty (30) days before a trip is scheduled to begin. Refunds will not be issued once these dates have passed or a program begins.  Refunds will not be issued for pool memberships once the pool has opened.  Refunds for pool memberships will also be charged the 20% service fee.

Payment For Program
Payment is due at the time of registration. You may pay by cash, check or in-person with credit/debit cards(Visa or Mastercard). Checks should be made payable to "ABINGTON TOWNSHIP." Checks for Briar Bush Programs should be made payable to "FRIENDS OF BRIAR BUSH". All returned checks will be assessed a fee of $25.00.

Photo Policy
On occasion we may take photos or video of individuals enrolled in programs or using parks facilities. Please be aware that these images are for department use and may be used in future promotional materials. 

Non-Resident Policy
Unless otherwise noted, non-residents will be charged a program fee that is 50% over the regular fee.
