The Township of Abington provides
bus service Monday, Wednesday, and Friday weekly. The
bus travels four circuits per day around the Township. In cooperation with PennDOT, bus service is free to
senior citizens who possess the PennDOT ridership card,
residents who have permanent disabilities and possess
the Township I.D. card, and children under 51 inches
tall. PennDOT and Township I.D. cards are obtained
at the Township Administration Building with proof of
age or disability. A singe one-way trip is $4.00.
One round-trip is just $1 for passengers using a
ten-trip ticket. The $10 tickets may be purchased
at the Township Administration Building, 1176 Old York
Road, Abington.
