Registry System

Engineering maintains a registry system that outlines all property boundaries in the Township. A transfer of ownership requires a deed that must be registered in the Engineering Office for a $10 fee before it will be accepted by the County Recorder of Deeds. An affidavit certifying that the property has sufficient smoke alarms, and the building number is visible from the street must accompany the deed at time of registration (a self-addressed envelope is necessary for the return of the deed).
