The Township of Abington is accepting applications for a Director of Engineering and Code Enforcement.  This is a full time position with an excellent salary and benefit package depending upon the successful applicant having the requisite qualifications and experience.  This position effectively manages the engineering and code enforcement department and all approved professional and third-party consultants.  The Director of Engineering and Code Enforcement may, when approved and appointed by the Township Board of Commissioners, serve as Township Engineer; be directly responsible for managing the work of outside engineers and consultants as assigned and directed by the Township Manager; manage all code enforcement functions and activities, complaints with third party contractors and assigned department personnel; assuring compliance with all laws, including the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Township ordinances, policies, processes, guidance documents, procedures and relevant contracts.  Brief and concise letters of interest, resumes and a completed Township employment application below shall be delivered electronically to:  engineerposition@abington.org. via this online form.
