NOTICE OF CONTINUED CONDITIONAL USE HEARING
TOWNSHIP OF ABINGTON
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Abington Township, at a special public meeting on Thursday, January 31, 2019, at 6:00 p.m. in the Township Municipal Building, 1176 Old York Road, Abington, Pennsylvania, will continue a public hearing and take action on the following matter:
Applicant: Baederwood Residential Partners, L.P.
Property: For property located adjacent to the North side of the Baederwood Shopping Center, which property has no street address and is identified as Montgomery County Tax Map Parcel No. 30-00-66644-00-7, within the Fairway Transit Zoning District of the Township of Abington, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
This is an application requesting Conditional Use approval to permit a Transit Oriented Development, in the Fairway Transit Zoning District, including the construction of a 244-unit apartment building on the rear 8.32 acres of a tract of land that also includes ±10.56 acres fronting on Fairway Valley Road, which ±10.56 acres are owned by BSC Jenkintown Limited Partnership.
A copy of the application is on file with the Code Enforcement Office of the Township of Abington and may be reviewed between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. weekdays.
